Every Thursday from 7 to 8pm, Upper Room becomes a Bible study cafe. A relaxed, no-pressure way into the Christian faith over a coffee. No church background needed. New here? Just turn up; there's no booking required.

Who we are

Upper Room Christian Bookshop Café is a not-for-profit ministry of the Coptic Orthodox Church, established to promote spiritual growth, Christian learning, and meaningful fellowship in Ramsgate and the wider Sydney community, open to everyone, whatever your background.

It exists as a welcoming space where faith and daily life meet, offering a carefully curated selection of Christian books, gifts, and resources that deepen understanding of Scripture, Tradition, and the life of the Church.

More than a bookshop, Upper Room is a place of encounter. A place to pause, reflect, and connect, whether through quiet reading, a coffee and conversation, or a moment of stillness in a busy world.
